The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is one of the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria throughout the entire supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.

In short GOTS not only assesses that the supply chain is fully certified and follows it's strict guidelines but it also guarantees that labour rights in terms of wages, work environment and health and safety guidelines.
